A bolognese lentil mix. Perfect for whatever you use bolognese for. Victorian lentils and organic spices + herbs, you add tomatoes + let the lentils do the rest. Serves four.

To Make

To a medium sized saucepan add the Lasagne Lentil  mix, 2 cans of diced tomatoes (or 3 cups of passata) and 2 cans (or 2.5 cups) of water.

Bring to the boil and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until the lentils are tender, stirring regularly. You may need to add some more boiling water if the lentils thicken too quickly.

To Eat

In a lasagne- This is a very good choice.

On pasta - With a heap of  Pecorino Cheez or Parmesan cheese.

On rice - With a citrus green salad on the side.

In a jaffle with tasty cheese - Also a very good idea..

To Serve

In a moussaka - Eggplant, potato + beagemal sauce bake. 

On a baked sweet potato - Cheese, coleslaw, sour cream, sweet corn…the possibilities are endless.

Stuffed capsicum - Hollow out red capsicum, stuff with Lasagna lentils + cooked rice, top with bread crumbs tossed in garlic, olive oil + lemon rind.

Made to be faster than fast food.

Victorian Persian red whole lentils, organic herbs + spices thyme, rosemary, paprika, cinnamon, black pepper, organic coconut panella + Victorian Pink Lake salt.
