Since graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science with Naturopathy. Catie has since opened the much-celebrated nominal-waste wholefood shop, The Staple Store in Ripponlea, Melbourne.  After 10-years in operation Catie closed The Staple Store’s doors to concentrate on writing and growing the brand online.

Over the last 12-years, she has delivered dozens of sold out lectures and workshops and contributed to The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, Marie Claire, The Design Files, MPavillion and many more.  She has developed an organic following of 60k+ followers across Instagram and Facebook. And she is raising a beautiful little human Scout.

Catie is passionate about so much from simple good food, to regenerative agriculture and local food providence, to cooking and recipe writing, to heath education and women's rights advocacy. She employs an accessible writing approach designed to reach a wide range of demographics, via a number of platforms.  

She has crowd funded and self published two books to date, the womens health initiative Notes To My Future Daughterwhich consolidates her expertise in women's health and nutrition and the companion book ‘Notes To My Future Son’. Addressing the mental health problems facing men today.

Following the great success of ‘Notes To My Future Daughter’ And ‘Notes To My Future Son’ and her latest printing project ‘Future Love Notes’. Catie is currently writing ‘Staples’ the long anticipated cookbook of recipes from ‘The Staple Store’. Catie lives in Melbourne with her daughter Scout, a pile of laundry, a half-eaten piece of cold buttered toast, an enviable muesli collection and her well-loved MacBook Air.
